WHAT ARE YOU FIGHTING FOR?

We are the Band of Warriors for Christ. But what does it mean to be a Warrior for Christ and what are we fighting for? We are in a spiritual warfare here on this earth. We are not walking around with semi-automatics or proclaiming violence but we are fighting a very real evil here on this earth. You may ask then why show a medieval battle scene? The answer is to show how serious this warfare is and what is at stake.

This war is not about money, land, or prestige and power but people’s souls spending eternity in peace with Jesus or suffering in a lake of fire. (Ephesians 6:12) “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (2 Corinthians 10:4) “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;” This is not some kind of mysticism but very real. Just as Jesus has his spirit and angels upon this earth, so does the devil and he is looking for souls. (1 Peter 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour;” As in any warfare, it requires training and preparation.

At BOWFC, we educate you with our bible study every Wednesday and equip Christians about the spiritual armor and weapons needed for the saving of souls. (Ephesians 6:11) “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
